Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 5 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Agustin Reyes! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Lagar Prechnyan! The judges for this bout are Aafke Stam, Paulsen Ambrosius and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Prechnyan misses with a double jab
and Reyes counters by clinching up. Prechnyan looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Prechnyan is trying to break the clinch but Reyes is controlling him. Prechnyan is trying to push Reyes away but Reyes has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere. Reyes blocking some punches.
A frustrated look appears on Prechnyan's face as he tries to break the clinch. Prechnyan has hold of one of Reyes's legs. Reyes is fighting the takedown attempt but Prechnyan gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard. Reyes looking for a sweep. Not yet Reyes, not yet. Prechnyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Reyes is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Prechnyan prevents Reyes from getting back to his feet. Reyes is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Prechnyan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Prechnyan tries to free his leg and advance position but Reyes is retaining full guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Reyes is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Prechnyan is aware though and is defending well. Reyes wants to stand up but Prechnyan is controlling him. Reyes is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Prechnyan wants to stand and escape but instead Reyes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Prechnyan trying to keep a closed guard but Reyes is proving a slippery customer.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes wanted to stand there but Prechnyan had control of the position. Prechnyan wants to improve his position but instead Reyes has moved into half guard.

Prechnyan wants to control but Reyes is keeping busy.
Reyes decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. Reyes misses with a double jab.
Reyes ducks right into an uppercut from Prechnyan. Reyes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Prechnyan has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Reyes is landing a low percentage of strikes.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Prechnyan leaves Reyes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Prechnyan connects with a high kick. Prechnyan throws a head kick that misses and Reyes decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Prechnyan's guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Reyes trying to control the position from guard on top but Prechnyan is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Reyes wants to get up but he can't break Prechnyan's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Prechnyan is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Reyes gets to his feet. Prechnyan looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Agustin Reyes dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Prechnyan misses with a straight right. Agustin Reyes is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Prechnyan scores to the head and body with a nice combination! Reyes throws a combination. Prechnyan tries to block but a couple of punches get through. Reyes misses with a wild combination.
Prechnyan throws a sloppy head kick and Reyes moves out of range easily. Lagar Prechnyan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Reyes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Reyes could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Reyes displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Prechnyan throws out the jab. Prechnyan throws a lazy head kick and Reyes moves into the clinch. Reyes's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Prechnyan misses the jab. Prechnyan is breathing heavily. Reyes dips to his left and cracks Prechnyan with an uppercut! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Prechnyan rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Reyes counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Prechnyan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Reyes is now in half guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Prechnyan can do anything to dispel that myth. Reyes decides to return to a standing position. Reyes cracks Prechnyan with a right hand to the side of the head. Sloppy strikes from Reyes. Those never looked like landing. Prechnyan throws a sloppy head kick and Reyes moves out of range easily. Reyes swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Prechnyan misses with a looping left. Reyes misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.

enabling Reyes to counter with a crisp jab. Reyes gets in close and instigates a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan misses with a punch on the inside.
Prechnyan gets control of Reyes's arms and successfully pulls guard. Prechnyan will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Reyes slips nicely into half guard. Reyes tries to stand and escape but Prechnyan is controlling the position. Prechnyan looks like he's trying to stand up.

Prechnyan throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Reyes sees it coming and avoids it easily. Reyes looks for the body kick but Prechnyan saw that one coming. Prechnyan misses with a right hand and Reyes counters with a shoot takedown. Prechnyan fights it but they end up in guard. Reyes trying to control but Prechnyan is working from the bottom. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Reyes prevents Prechnyan from getting back to his feet. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Reyes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reyes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. A head kick by Prechnyan misses and Reyes moves into the clinch. Reyes gets control of Prechnyan's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reyes will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Prechnyan preventing the sweep. Prechnyan prevents Reyes from getting back to his feet. Reyes managing to control the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Prechnyan drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Reyes manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Prechnyan has Reyes in his guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Reyes is working Prechnyan over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Reyes drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Reyes jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Reyes wants to control from the top but Prechnyan keeps moving. Reyes lands a couple of elbows. Reyes wanted to stand there but Prechnyan had control of the position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Reyes stands up and waves to Prechnyan to follow him. Prechnyan tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Reyes throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Prechnyan tries to work over Reyes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Prechnyan works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Prechnyan wants to stand and escape but instead Reyes has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Lagar Prechnyan has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Prechnyan working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Reyes. Prechnyan is looking to stand up but Reyes isn't so interested in that idea. Reyes wants to stand but Prechnyan has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Prechnyan keeping moving, preventing Reyes from controlling successfully. Reyes is looking to stand up but Prechnyan won't let him. Reyes wants to control from the top but Prechnyan keeps moving. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up, due to lack of activity on the part of Agustin Reyes. Reyes avoids the head kick by Prechnyan.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Reyes shoots in for a takedown but Prechnyan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Reyes tries to bum rush Prechnyan with a series of wild strikes but Prechnyan uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Prechnyan throws a head kick but Reyes moves out of range.

Lagar Prechnyan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. A head kick misses from Prechnyan. Prechnyan throws a lazy uppercut
and Reyes counters by clinching up. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Prechnyan tries to work over Reyes's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Prechnyan tries to throw a body punch but Reyes avoids it by throwing Prechnyan back against the cage. Agustin Reyes is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Prechnyan misses with a hook to the ribs.
And that's the end of the fight! Agustin Reyes showed his dominance in that final round. Well Reyes has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
