Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dibby Shtick (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcus Wittman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Dibby Shtick! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Marcus Wittman! The judges for this bout are Cecil Peabody, Stewart Dunkirk and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Wittman closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Shtick looks to move to half guard but instead Wittman has passed into mount! Damn! Wittman moves to back control. Well, with Wittman on his back, surely it's only a matter of time before Shtick is tapping out... Can he escape the position? Wittman misses with punches from the back. Wittman looking to hold on to the position here but Shtick rolls and ends up regaining guard.

Shtick is looking to stand up but Wittman isn't so interested in that idea. Wittman looking to pass the guard. Wittman trying to control the position from guard on top but Shtick is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Wittman wants to pass the guard but Shtick is keeping the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Wittman being controlled here momentarily.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Shtick gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Wittman counters with a takedown into side control. Shtick is looking to regain half guard here but Wittman keeps moving and retains side control. Shtick really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Wittman is looking to take a break and control but Shtick is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Wittman tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Wittman working away.

Shtick is breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Wittman looking to sit in guard and control but Shtick gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Wittman looking for a guillotine here but Shtick defends easily.

Shtick shoots in but doesn't get the takedown so Wittman counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Shtick wants to sweep here but Wittman controlling him for the moment. Wittman with a flurry of punches that miss. Wittman drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Wittman jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Shtick trying to keep a closed guard but Wittman is proving a slippery customer.

Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Shtick misses with a hook. Excellent takedown into side control there by Wittman. Wittman trying to control the action but Shtick is working from the bottom. Shtick tries to escape but Wittman is in control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wittman sitting in side control, looking to soften his opponent up with elbows and hammerfists but Shtick is avoiding damage well and looking to escape the position.
Wittman tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wittman has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Wittman moves into full mount! Shtick wants to hold on but Wittman pushes him away. Wittman is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Shtick can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Wittman has control of Shtick's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Shtick regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wittman takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Wittman looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Wittman is working for a guillotine from mount but Shtick frees his head quite easily.

Wittman has hold of Shtick's left arm, perhaps looking for a submission. The two fighters tussle over control of the isolated limb and Shtick manages to get his arm back to his side and away from danger.

Marcus Wittman showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. This is the final round!

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground. Wittman shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Wittman jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Shtick is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Shtick and Wittman has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

And that's the end of the fight! Dibby Shtick showed his dominance in that final round. Well Wittman has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
