Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Matt Williams (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Gadzhiev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Williams has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 5 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kamil Gadzhiev!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Colin Fotheringham and Sam Margolis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Gadzhiev shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Williams is looking to get back to is feet but Gadzhiev passes into side control.
Williams is breathing heavily.
Gadzhiev controls the position from side control.
It looks like Gadzhiev might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Kamil Gadzhiev hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Gadzhiev throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Williams was covering up waiting for the punch and Gadzhiev finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Gadzhiev passes Williams's right leg, so he's now in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Kamil Gadzhiev.

Gadzhiev changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Williams looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Gadzhiev takes a little break here. Williams wants to take advantage but he is being controlled well.
Gadzhiev has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Williams!

Gadzhiev get's back to his feet.

Gadzhiev passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Williams!

Gadzhiev controlling the position easily from mount.
Gadzhiev's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Kamil Gadzhiev dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Gadzhiev feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Kamil Gadzhiev has got the better of the ground game so far.
Gadzhiev slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Williams could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Gadzhiev passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Gadzhiev just content to control the position.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Kamil Gadzhiev was stalling too much, according to the referee.

Gadzhiev drives through with a powerful takedown. That's hurt Williams!

Williams is rocked!
Gadzhiev advances position into side control!
Oh Williams is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!

Gadzhiev has hold of Williams's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Williams tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Gadzhiev cranks the arm and Williams screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Williams, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
