Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Silviu Alex (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drinos Gordo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Phil Schofield, Daniel Bishop and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gordo fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Alex sprawls well initially but Gordo persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Gordo is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Alex is trying to get back to full guard.
Alex looks like he's trying to stand up.

Gordo's corner is telling him to maintain position.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Drinos Gordo hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Alex gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Gordo is on top in guard.
Gordo decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.

Alex seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Gordo does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Gordo got a little sloppy there for a moment and Alex has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Gordo has managed to get both his arms back between Alex's legs - danger averted.

That's time! Alex's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Gordo is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Alex can't fight it off and eventually Gordo manages to take the fight to the floor. Alex looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Alex has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Gordo can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Drinos Gordo is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.
Alex throws a head kick but Gordo moves out of range.

Drinos Gordo comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Gordo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
