Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Inigo Guerra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Sakuraba (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Guerra kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Beast - Tech N9ne. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
10 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Inigo Guerra!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
11 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Naruto Sakuraba!
The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Guerra takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Inigo Guerra has been cut.
Sakuraba drops his hands momentarily and Guerra takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Inigo Guerra seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sakuraba takes a jab right on the kisser.
Guerra defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sakuraba.
Guerra swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Sakuraba counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Sakuraba stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Guerra swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sakuraba won't allow Guerra to sweep him here.
Sakuraba pushing down on Guerra's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Guerra wants to improve his position but Sakuraba is controlling well.
Guerra is working hard here to advance position.
Sakuraba uses his free foot to push down on Guerra's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Guerra.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Guerra flailing away with punches but nothing is landing.
Sakuraba looking for a guillotine from mount but Guerra is having none of it.
Sakuraba prevents Guerra from getting the reversal.
Guerra is trying to escape the mount but Sakuraba keeps good control and instead manages to take Guerra's back.
Sakuraba wants to control but Guerra is keeping busy.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Sakuraba keeps control of the position as Guerra tries to break free.

Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sakuraba is working for a rear naked choke. Guerra is not defending it well and Sakuraba has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Guerra refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Guerra's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:38 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Naruto Sakuraba!
Naruto Sakuraba very nearly forgot to thank Vitality amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
