Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Keenan Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Phil Roster (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Roster is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Welcome Home. Keenan Hudson looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The judges for this bout are Ron Honeybunn, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hudson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.

Hudson fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roster sprawls well initially but Hudson persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hudson is looking for a kimura but Roster is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Hudson to get the leverage.

Roster pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Hudson circles away from the clinch attempt.

Hudson moves into range and clinches up with Roster.

Keenan Hudson overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Hudson, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
