Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jean-Louis Andre (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rajesh Koothrappali (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Koothrappali has chosen Punjab as his entrance music. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 13 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jean-Louis Andre!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 15 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rajesh Koothrappali!
The judges for this bout are Trevor Gratis, Alec Ball and Elvis Blanc.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Koothrappali throws a body punch but Andre moves out of range.
Koothrappali throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Koothrappali throws a leg kick that is checked

and Andre counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Koothrappali not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.

Koothrappali looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Andre pushing down on Koothrappali's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Andre is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Koothrappali felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Andre slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Andre tries to free his leg and advance position but Koothrappali is retaining full guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Horrible takedown by Andre or perhaps it was just good defense by Koothrappali which made him look bad.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Koothrappali, as that shot connected.

Andre just misses with a punch to the body.
Koothrappali throws a jab but it's blocked by Andre.
Koothrappali throws a push kick but Andre slaps the foot to one side.
The crowd cheers as Koothrappali lands an impressive looking overhand right. Andre doesn't seem phased though.
Koothrappali throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Koothrappali keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Andre takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Koothrappali wants to land a leg kick but Andre is out of range.

Andre throws an overhand right that lands on Koothrappali's shoulder, as Koothrappali tries to avoid the shot.

Andre will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.
Koothrappali works Andre's body with a nice hook.
Andre thows a body shot but no joy.

Rajesh Koothrappali showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Koothrappali is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Andre rolls with it to try and escape but Koothrappali cranks on the arm and Andre is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Rajesh Koothrappali!
A relieved looking Rajesh Koothrappali thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
