Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Tito Valasquez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Query (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Winston Howard, Steve Erwin and Bruno Hogan.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valasquez tries for a takedown but Query sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Valasquez shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Query as he avoids it easily.
A jab from Query misses.
Valasquez shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Valasquez was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Valasquez fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Query tries to lock up and control but Valasquez gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Valasquez cracks Query with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

Query is trying to escape but when you're mounted that's not too easy.

Query wants to control but Valasquez is having none of it.
Valasquez postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Query looks a forlorn figure.
Query is bucking up trying to escape but Valasquez cracks him with another couple of good strikes.

Query is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Valasquez's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Valasquez's back!
You can see the frustration on Valasquez's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.
Query doesn't have the hooks in and Valasquez manages to turn into his guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Valasquez accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Query tries to kick Valasquez off but Valasquez keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
Valasquez gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.

Query lands with an uppercut that bounces Valasquez off the cage and back into rage.

Valasquez shoots for a takedown but Query saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Oh Valasquez is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Tito Valasquez. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Query connects with a looping right hand.
Query feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Valasquez sprawling to the canvas! Valasquez rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Query finish him?!
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Query lands with a right and another and another! Valasquez is in big trouble! Query lands again and this time it's lights out for Valasquez! A quality knockout there for Query.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Nate Query!
