Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, John Doe!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
9 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Calm Like A Bomb!
The judges for this bout are Donald Grub, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doe throws an off balance right hand
and A Bomb counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Doe wants to clinch.
Doe has been working on his boxing with his coaches at The Seven Sins Grappling Academy in the buildup to the fight.
Doe misses with a hook.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts A Bomb, as that shot connected.
Doe cracks A Bomb with an open hand slap.
Doe doesn't manage to clinch there - A Bomb circles away.
Doe takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Doe wants to clinch up but A Bomb keeps it at a distance.
Doe ducks right into an uppercut from A Bomb.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A Bomb buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Doe is looking to clinch but A Bomb is avoiding it.
A Bomb scores with a nice strike.
A Bomb ducks under a wild hook from Doe.
Sloppy strikes from A Bomb. Those never looked like landing.
A Bomb throws a body kick that digs right into the meat.
A Bomb moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.
Doe looks to land a right hand but A Bomb moved out of range.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Doe misses with a straight left.
A Bomb scores with the left hand. Doe knows he should have avoided that one.
Doe on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by A Bomb. A Bomb obviously looking to wear him down.
Doe walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
It looks like John Doe has been cut.
A Bomb scores with a leg kick.
A Bomb lands an overhand right.
This has been an exciting period of action!
A telegraphed right hand from Doe misses the target.
A Bomb drops Doe with a straight right hand, right on the button! A Bomb follows him down to the mat and pounds him out with hammerfists until the referee jumps in to end the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Calm Like A Bomb!
Calm Like A Bomb very nearly forgot to thank Perkele! amongst all the excitement of his win but just as the interview came to a close, he screamed their name. Hopefully he'll get a few nice freebies in the mail as a thank you.
