Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mick Ward (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Harry Farrow (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mick Ward had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 171.3lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Both these guys have solid standup skills and neither is particularly fantastic on the ground, so let's hope for a nice standup war!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Mick Ward!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Harry Farrow!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Sandra Marshall and Peter Branson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Farrow bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Ward's head backwards.
Farrow showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Ward.
Ward throws a right hand that Farrow ducks under and follows up with a left that Farrow also avoids with ease.
Farrow works the jab nicely.
Ward throws a left and a right that both miss
and Farrow counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Ward thinking.
Sloppy strikes from Ward. Those never looked like landing.
Farrow throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Farrow cracks Ward with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Ward looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Farrow finish him?
Ward is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nice body punch from Farrow.
Ward is breathing heavily.
Farrow misses with a jab, cross combination.
Farrow has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Farrow throws a body punch but Ward moves out of range.
Farrow clinches up with Ward and pushes him back against the cage.
Ward wants to break the clinch but can't.
Farrow scores with a shoulder strike.
Oh Ward is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Farrow lands a left hand that snaps the head of Ward backwards.
Farrow scores with a nice hook to the head.
Farrow pushes Ward against the cage. Farrow is working some dirty boxing. Farrow pushes off with a quick right hook! Ward goes down! Ward tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Farrow moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:55 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Harry Farrow!
Mick Ward spoke after the fight, saying 'You trained well....'.
