Pyle is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Bate Pesadão. Richard Pyle will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A head kick by Mayweather misses

and Pyle counters with a shoot takedown. Mayweather fights it but they end up in guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.
Pyle is pushing down on Mayweather's leg trying to pass to half guard. Mayweather is fighting to maintain full guard but Pyle has managed to sneak the leg through.
Mayweather knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Pyle on the ground.
Pyle wants to free his trapped foot but Mayweather is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Pyle swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Mayweather is now in Pyle's guard. A big mistake from Pyle there, giving up the dominant position!

Mayweather got a little sloppy there for a moment and Pyle has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Mayweather has managed to get both his arms back between Pyle's legs - danger averted.
