The judges for this bout are Emerson Jorge, Luis Engracia and Felipe Paraventi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hordan's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Aguete connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Hordan scrambles back to his feet.
Hordan avoids the body shot from Aguete.
A left lands for Aguete.
Aguete misses with a two punch combination.
A punch combination from Aguete misses.
No joy there for Aguete, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Aguete swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Hordan tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Aguete swivels and escapes.
Aguete lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Hordan backs up against the cage.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Aguete jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Aguete circles away from the clinch attempt.
Hordan misses with a takedown attempt - Aguete sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Hordan keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Aguete.
Hordan walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Aguete fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Aguete lands with a nice body punch.
Aguete scores with a jab to the jaw.
Aguete dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Hordan.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lemmy Hordan. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Nice uppercut lands for Aguete. That snapped Hordan's head back.
Aguete looks to land a combination but Hordan avoids it well.
Aguete feints with a jab and clips Hordan right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! Hordan is sent crashing into the canvas and Aguete leaps in for the kill! Hordan tries to get to his feet but Aguete is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that Hordan is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:44 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rafael Aguete!
