Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Gilbert (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Judeson Racine (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gilbert throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Gilbert could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Racine misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Gilbert is looking to clinch.

Racine throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Gilbert stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

and Gilbert counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Gilbert tries to close the distance and clinch but Racine swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Racine tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Gilbert swivels and escapes.

Gilbert is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Racine is defending well.

Gilbert drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Racine gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Gilbert tries to pull guard but Racine holds him up against the cage and eventually Gilbert drops back down to his feet.
Racine wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Racine is trying to push Gilbert away but Gilbert has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.

Gilbert might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
Racine has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Gilbert is proving hard to escape from.
Gilbert thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
Gilbert has his foot on Racine's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Racine works his way back into a safe position though.
Racine stands up from Gilbert's guard - Racine perhaps looking for a knockout.
Racine works Gilbert's body with a nice hook.
Gilbert is breathing heavily.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Racine fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Gilbert avoids it really well and circles away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Racine has a momentary lapse of concentration, allowing Gilbert to throw up a leg and lock on what appears to be a pretty tight triangle! Racine is fighting it off but it's all too little too late - Gilbert pulls down on the head and he's put Racine to sleep! This one is all over!
