Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Greg Norman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dean Wesson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wesson has chosen Imperial March as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Dean Wesson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Greg Norman!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Dean Wesson!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Dirk Anderson and Winston Alpacca.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Wesson tries for a takedown but Norman circles away easily
and Norman counters into the clinch. Nicely done.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Wesson has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Norman lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Wesson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Norman pulls his leg out and moves away.
A head kick misses from Norman.
Wesson fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Greg Norman has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Dean Wesson.
Wesson gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Norman counters with an inside leg kick.
Norman misses with a straight right.
Wesson is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Norman throws a sloppy head kick and Wesson moves out of range easily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Wesson with a poor takedown
and Norman counters with a head kick that drops Wesson to the mat! Wesson scrambles across the canvas and gets back to his feet, still wobbly!
Wesson is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Norman throws a pinpoint strike between Wesson's hands that connects right on the jaw and sends Wesson crashing to the floor! He's out before he even hits the mat and Norman scores a great knockout victory!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:12 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Greg Norman!
Greg Norman bigged himself up after the win. The crowd seemed to love it.
