Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Armas Lumpio! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 3 - 1, fighting out of London, Toshiro Hitsugaya! The judges for this bout are James Glass, Phil Schofield and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Hitsugaya misses with a straight right. Hitsugaya has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Lumpio looks to land a right hand but Hitsugaya moved out of range. Lumpio swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

and Hitsugaya counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. A looping hook to the body misses from Lumpio. Hitsugaya does a little dance to reset his feet. Armas Lumpio seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Hitsugaya ducks under a wild hook from Lumpio. A right-left combo lands from Lumpio. Lumpio throws a hook to the side of Hitsugaya's head but Hitsugaya sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. A big right from Lumpio misses. Lumpio misses with a low kick as Hitsugaya jumps back. Hitsugaya's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Hitsugaya duly obliges. Hitsugaya misses with a head kick.

I was talking to Lumpio's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Hitsugaya blocks an elbow strike. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
