Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Matt Richard (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marcos Anadrade (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Gregory Folan, Yves DeLean and Robert Douchet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anadrade shoots in but doesn't get the takedown

and Richard holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Richard lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Anadrade backwards.

Richard turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Richard manages to end up in side control.
Richard is trying to ground and pound but Anadrade uses the momentary lack of control by Richard to regain half guard.
Richard is trying to control the action in half guard but Anadrade is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Richard wants to free his trapped foot but Anadrade is holding on for dear life with his legs.

Richard is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Anadrade connects with a nice short shot to Richard's temple.

Richard throws a sloppy head kick and Anadrade moves out of range easily.

Richard feints a jab promting Anadrade to slip. Richard then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Anadrade slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Anadrade got a little sloppy there for a moment and Richard has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Anadrade has managed to get both his arms back between Richard's legs - danger averted.
Anadrade must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Anadrade takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Anadrade looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Richard with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Anadrade winds up and cracks Richard with a swinging punch to the side of the head.
