Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between John Sanderson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rabbit Usavich (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Usavich has chosen Cucak Rowo By Didi Kempot as his entrance music. Rabbit Usavich is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, John Sanderson! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
6 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rabbit Usavich! The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Usavich ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Usavich shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Sanderson as he avoids it easily. Usavich misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Usavich scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Sanderson misses with an uppercut. Usavich saw that one coming. Sanderson fails with a takedown attempt. Usavich dives in for a single leg takedown but Sanderson sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Sanderson has had enough of the clinch but Usavich keeps him there for the moment. Usavich breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanderson throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Sanderson misses with a left hand and Usavich counters with a stiff right hand. Usavich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sanderson misses with a lunging right hand
enabling Usavich to counter with a crisp jab. Usavich lands a high kick!
Sanderson has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him. Usavich rushes Sanderson and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch. Usavich breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Sanderson throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Usavich counters with a nice uppercut. Usavich misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Rabbit Usavich seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Usavich lands a nice leg kick that just misses Sanderson's sensitive parts. Usavich fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Usavich tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Sanderson manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Usavich dives in and grabs Sanderson's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sanderson pushes down on Usavich's head and hops out. John Sanderson has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rabbit Usavich. Sanderson throws an overhand right that lands on Usavich's shoulder, as Usavich tries to avoid the shot. Usavich throws a shot to the body.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson misses the body punch and Usavich makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Sanderson really felt that one! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! A thudding body kick lands there by Usavich!
Usavich lands a leg kick that knocks Sanderson off balance momentarily. Sanderson shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard. Usavich trying to control but Sanderson postures up.
Usavich is looking for a sweep. Sanderson is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Sanderson is keen to just control but Usavich is a slippery customer.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Usavich controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Sanderson prevents Usavich from improving his position. Usavich wants to control but Sanderson is keeping busy.
The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Rabbit Usavich. Usavich darts in looking for a takedown but Sanderson gets double underhooks and turns Usavich into the cage. Sanderson has Usavich pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Usavich manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Sanderson definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Usavich wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Sanderson misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Sanderson goes for a takedown attempt but Usavich pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Usavich thuds his shin into the meat of Sanderson's side. Sanderson takes a head kick and keeps coming.
Sanderson misses with a straight right. Sanderson is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Usavich. Sanderson fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Usavich will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Usavich rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Sanderson moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Usavich slips under a jab. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Rabbit Usavich dominated that round. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!
Sanderson throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Usavich sees it coming and avoids it easily. Usavich throws a front kick that sends Sanderson stumbling back into the cage. Usavich clinches up against the cage. Sanderson wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Usavich manages to break the clinch.
Usavich throws a series of punches but Sanderson moves out of range. Usavich throws a body kick that digs right into the meat. Usavich shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat. Usavich trying to control but Sanderson is working from the bottom. Usavich throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. Sanderson tries to land a sweep but no joy.
That's one minute gone in the round. Usavich throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Sanderson works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Sanderson keeping full guard, as Usavich tries to pass. Sanderson throws some sloppy strikes off his back.
Usavich scoring with some ground and pound. Sanderson wants to sweep but no luck. Usavich with a flurry of punches that miss. Usavich stands and throws Sanderson's legs to the side, diving into side control. Usavich tries to score with some ground and pound. Sanderson controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Usavich has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sanderson is looking for a sweep. Usavich passes to full mount! That's big trouble for Sanderson! Usavich throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Sanderson because Usavich loaded up on that one. Usavich lands with some strikes. Sanderson in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Usavich lands a couple of good shots and Sanderson has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Usavich is working for a rear naked choke. Sanderson is not defending it well and Usavich has tightened it up quickly! This could be all over! Sanderson refuses to tap and goes to sleep, forcing the referee to intervene. A little trickle of blood came out of Sanderson's nose as his head slumped to the floor. That is naaaasty!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:54 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Rabbit Usavich! An out of breath Rabbit Usavich thanked his loyal fans in his post fight interview, giving them credit for his success over the course of his career.
