Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mingo Deems! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 5 - 0, fighting out of New York, Brian Williams! The judges for this bout are Jonathan Paton, Reed Andrews and Jorge Garcia.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Deems loads up on a big right hand but Williams slips the punch. Deems has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Deems there as he acknowledges the shot. Deems scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
It looks like Brian Williams has been cut. Williams connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. We've been told by Deems's head coaches at Midnight MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Deems is looking to score with low kicks. Williams throws a hook but Deems avoids it easily. We've been informed that Williams has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Williams throws a hook but Deems blocks it. Williams has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Deems finds it's way round the side to connect with Williams's head. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Deems will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Williams lands with an uppercut that bounces Deems off the cage and back into range. Deems uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. and Deems moves into the clinch. Deems breaks from the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Williams connects with the punch. Deems throws a jab but it's blocked by Williams. A swing and a miss from Williams. Deems misses with a two punch combination.

Deems fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Deems uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Williams. Deems misses with an uppercut. Williams swings widly with a right hand
and Deems counters with a huge uppercut, hook combination that drops Williams! The ref has seen enough - he's dived in to stop the fight! Brutal strikes by Deems!

A very excited looking Mingo Deems made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
