The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Umkenga takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
Asap leaves Umkenga with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Horrible takedown by Umkenga or perhaps it was just good defense by Asap which made him look bad.
Umkenga fails with the takedown.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Lal Umkenga. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Asap closes the distance and lands a one-two.

Asap moves into the clinch successfully.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Umkenga tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Asap lands with a light punch inside.
Umkenga is rocked!

Oh Umkenga is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Umkenga seems to have got his legs back now.
Umkenga tries to pull guard but Asap won't allow it.
Asap drops Umkenga onto one knee with a big uppercut from the clinch! Umkenga is propped up by the cage and works his way back to his feet!
Asap unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Umkenga! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Asap is unloading with more strikes now! Umkenga drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:53 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Sean Asap!
