Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between David Presley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Opium Opiate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Presley comes to the cage accompanied by Loco. David Presley has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, David Presley! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Opium Opiate! The judges for this bout are Reed Andrews, Bruno Lombardi and Joseph Jones.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Opiate jabs at Presley's body. Opiate fails with an attempt to clinch.
Presley ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Opiate moves away. Opiate takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Opiate wants to clinch. Presley pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Opiate darts in and out, connecting with a jab. Opiate doesn't manage to clinch there - Presley circles away.
Opiate forces Presley back against the cage and clinches. Opiate lands a nice elbow.
It looks like David Presley has been cut. Opiate lands a knee to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Opiate. Presley gets through Opiate's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Presley stalling in the clinch but Opiate improves position. Opiate leaning against his opponent.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Presley. A nice glancing elbow lands by Opiate.
That's one minute gone in the round. Opiate misses with a hook to the ribs.
Opiate landing knees to the body.
Opiate makes some space for himself and lands an uppercut. Presley misses with a body punch.
Opiate doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Opiate trying to control the position but instead, Presley has worked for underhooks and has pushed Opiate into the cage. Opiate blocks an uppercut.
Presley tries to circle away but Opiate has him pinned against the cage. Presley is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Opiate gets an overhook and lands an elbow to the side of the head. Presley wants to get back to striking at distance but Opiate won't allow it.
Opiate blocking some punches.
Presley doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
I was talking to Presley's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Opiate lands a left hand that snaps the head of Presley backwards. Presley is looking to break free of the clinch but Opiate has double underhooks. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Presley changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Opiate fights it off and pushes away nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Presley thows a body shot but no joy. Presley avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Opiate bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Opiate throws a head kick that Presley semi-blocks.
Opiate misses with a two punch combination.
Opiate throws a sloppy head kick and Presley moves out of range easily. Opiate gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Presley has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Opiate tries to throw a body punch but Presley avoids it by throwing Opiate back against the cage. Presley looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Presley tries to circle away but Opiate has him pinned against the cage. Presley tries to break the clinch but Opiate is controlling the position. Presley tries for a takedown but Opiate manages to get underhooks.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Opiate cracks Presley with a nice body shot. Nice elbow from Opiate. Opiate lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Opiate leaning against his opponent.
Opiate lands a nice elbow. Presley is looking to take this one to the mat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for David Presley. That's going to take a lot out of him. Opiate slows down the pace here.
Presley takes an elbow to the forehead.
David Presley's cut is getting worse. Opiate lands a right hand. Presley presses Opiate against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Opiate slowing the pace effectively. Presley is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Opiate pulls him back up using the underhooks. Opiate blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Presley takes an elbow to the forehead. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Opiate lands with a light punch inside.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Opiate comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Opiate lands an elbow inside.
David Presley's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Opiate lands an elbow inside that Presley shrugs off. Opiate drags the fight down to the ground.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet. Presley landing some decent shots from guard. Presley has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Opiate pulls Presley in close to his closed guard and prevents Presley from doing any damage or advancing position. Opiate avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Opiate is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Presley wants to control from the top but Opiate keeps moving. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Opiate is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Opium Opiate dominated that round. The cut man is working on David Presley's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Presley thows a body shot but no joy. David Presley is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Presley drops his hands momentarily and Opiate takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Presley takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Presley drops his hands for a split second and Opiate immediately capitalizes on the opportunity by smashing a powerful hook into Presley face, sending his mouthguard sailing through the air, much to the delight of the crowd. Opiate follows up with a right hand that knocks Presley into next week. He's out cold and this fight is over!
