Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chris Mayo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Day Man (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mayo comes to the cage accompanied by Super Furry Animals - Golden Retriever. Man has chosen Day Man Remix as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

I was talking to Mayo's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight.

With the fighters clinched against the cage, Man creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Mayo is rocked!
Man creates some distance for himselfand unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Mayo's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Mayo drops to his knees and Man pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:35 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Day Man!
After winning the bout, Day Man thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
