PBP Commentary |
Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Tom Stroud (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tobikan Judan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stroud comes to the cage accompanied by Vallenfyre - Iconoclast. Tobikan Judan told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Tobikan Judan!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stroud lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Judan shoots in and drives through. Stroud sprawls well.
Stroud's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Stroud duly obliges.
Judan is rocked!
Judan throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Stroud's waist but Stroud gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Judan off to one side.
Judan looks for a takedown but Stroud sprawls well.
Tom Stroud has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tobikan Judan.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Judan misses with a takedown
and Stroud counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stroud.
Judan is still in real trouble! Can Stroud finish him?
Stroud slips nicely into half guard, despite the strikes coming from Judan.
Stroud is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Judan is hurt! He's hurt bad - Stroud fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Judan from any more punishment! Congratulations to Stroud! Great finish!
