The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and James Ackerman.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swano pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Newmark avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
The crowd cheers as Swano lands an impressive looking overhand right. Newmark doesn't seem phased though.
Swano misses with a lunging right hand
and Newmark counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Swano takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.
Swano jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Newmark connects with the punch.
It looks like Dan Swano has been cut.
Newmark lands a big uppercut and Swano crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Swano looks OK. Newmark waves Swano back to his feet!
Swano is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Swano walks into a straight right, dropping him to the canvas! Newmark swarms him and finishes the fight with a hail of punches! What a brutal finish!
