Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Mohamed Ahmed (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ron Kos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mohamed Ahmed has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Mohamed Ahmed! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ron Kos! The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Tiny Johnson and Wesley Smith.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Ahmed keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Ahmed. Kos throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Kos gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Kos can do anything to dispel that myth. Kos has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Ahmed is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. Ahmed prevents Kos from breaking the clinch. Kos wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Ahmed gets control of Kos's arms and successfully pulls guard. Ahmed will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. Ahmed is working the butterfly guard. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Kos wants to get back to his feet but Ahmed drags him back down.

Ahmed controls the position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Ahmed advances to mount. Ahmed trying to control but he's not successful this time. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Ahmed throws an elbow from mount that misses. Lucky escape for Kos because Ahmed loaded up on that one.

Ahmed fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Ahmed shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. A clash of legs there as Ahmed blocks the low kick. Kos misses with a left hand and Ahmed counters with a one-two to the body. Ahmed is looking to stand up but Kos isn't so interested in that idea. Kos must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Kos postures up in Ahmed's guard and throws a big left but Ahmed blocks it. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. That's two minutes gone in the round. Kos throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Kos pushing out the jab but it's not landing. Kos tests Ahmed's chin there with a solid looking shot. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Kos throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Ahmed sees it coming and avoids it easily. Kos's corner calls for a 1-2. Kos obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Kos pivots, looking for a leg kick but Ahmed is out of range and Kos settles back down. Kos throws a shot from downtown. Ahmed moves away and avoids it. Kos jabbing away but nothing is landing. Kos uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Ahmed has time to react. Kos stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Kos wants it to stay on the feet. Ahmed blocks a leg kick. Kos throws an overhand right that lands on Ahmed's shoulder, as Ahmed tries to avoid the shot. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Ahmed, as that shot connected.
Ahmed shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Kos but Kos pushes him off and we're back to square one. Ahmed takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
It looks like Mohamed Ahmed has been cut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kos fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Kos looks to throw the jab but Ahmed is out of range. Kos throws a hook but Ahmed avoids it easily. Ahmed uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Kos. Kos just misses with a punch to the body.
Ahmed walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Ahmed wants to clinch. Kos misses with a series of wild punches.

Kos misses with a hook. Ahmed ducked under it nicely. Ahmed shoots for a double leg takedown but Kos sprawls well. He's pushed Ahmed's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Ahmed takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Kos circles away from the clinch attempt.
Kos will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Kos throws a front kick aimed at Ahmed's knee but Ahmed avoids it well. Kos is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Ahmed. Kos lunges at Ahmed with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Ahmed's hand. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ahmed tries to clinch but Kos is having none of it. Kos throws a monster overhand right that drops Ahmed! Kos follows up with more strikes from mount and the fight is all over!
