Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dylan Stewart (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Albert De Morcerf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dylan Stewart! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Albert De Morcerf! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Saam Ante and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Stewart gets a double leg takedown into De Morcerf's guard. De Morcerf looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work. Stewart has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of De Morcerf is proving hard to escape from. Stewart stands up from De Morcerf's guard - Stewart perhaps looking for a knockout. De Morcerf tries to keep at a distance but Stewart has taken the fight into the clinch. Stewart is trying to trip De Morcerf. He has hold of a leg but De Morcerf is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Stewart persists though and gets the takedown into guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Stewart decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. De Morcerf fails with the takedown and Stewart decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in De Morcerf's guard.
De Morcerf is rocked! Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Stewart tries to stand but De Morcerf is controlling from the bottom. De Morcerf is still in real trouble! Can Stewart finish him? Stewart stands up from guard. Let's bang!
That's one minute gone in the round. Stewart fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Stewart tries to bum rush De Morcerf with a series of wild strikes but De Morcerf uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Stewart throws a body punch but De Morcerf moves out of range. Stewart swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Stewart shoots in looking for a single leg takedown. De Morcerf is trying to defend but Stewart finishes it well and ends up in half guard. Let's see if he can advance position further. Stewart lands with a punch from half guard. Stewart is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so De Morcerf is just riding it out for now. Stewart eventually gives up the hold. Stewart knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for De Morcerf on the ground. De Morcerf taking some punishment here, with Stewart in his half guard. Stewart winds up and cracks De Morcerf with a swinging punch to the side of the head. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Stewart working the head and body with strikes. Stewart stands up from half guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Stewart is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, De Morcerf has managed to free his arm - good work. Stewart stands up out of the half guard. Stewart throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. De Morcerf tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Stewart is in De Morcerf's guard. Stewart wants to stand and escape but instead De Morcerf has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Stewart pulls De Morcerf in close to his closed guard and prevents De Morcerf from doing any damage or advancing position. Stewart tries to land a sweep but no joy. De Morcerf got a little sloppy there for a moment and Stewart has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, De Morcerf has managed to get both his arms back between Stewart's legs - danger averted. Stewart is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Stewart tries to stand but his arm is trapped. Stewart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Morcerf doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stewart. Stewart could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Stewart wants to get back to his feet.
Stewart throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Stewart is working for a submission of some sort.
De Morcerf seems to have recovered his senses. Stewart is looking to advance position but De Morcerf won't allow it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Stewart takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. De Morcerf is looking to escape. Stewart tries to stand and escape but De Morcerf is controlling the position. De Morcerf is looking for a sweep. Stewart is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Stewart is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. De Morcerf doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Stewart. Stewart sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. De Morcerf defending well though. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

De Morcerf gets caught flat footed, as Stewart shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Stewart controlling from the top position. Stewart wants to stand but De Morcerf has a closed guard, so he can't escape. Stewart has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Stewart lands a couple of elbows. Stewart landing some decent shots from guard. De Morcerf has a closed guard, preventing Stewart from standing up. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Stewart decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on De Morcerf, up you get! De Morcerf shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Stewart counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Stewart.
That's one minute gone in the round. De Morcerf has momentary wrist control but Stewart slips an elbow through the middle. Stewart decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on De Morcerf, up you get! Stewart fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with De Morcerf, pushing him back against the cage. Stewart's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Stewart drives through with a takedown into De Morcerf's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. Stewart scores with a decent looking elbow strike. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Stewart accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. De Morcerf has a closed guard, preventing Stewart from standing up. Stewart wants to control from the top but De Morcerf keeps moving. Dylan Stewart overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Stewart slips nicely into half guard. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! De Morcerf moves into full guard.

Stewart slips effortlessly into side control - very nice. De Morcerf manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Stewart is working for a kimura from half guard. He's really concentrating on the hold and it's allowed De Morcerf to slip a leg under and get back to full guard. Stewart wanted to stand there but De Morcerf had control of the position.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Stewart makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard. Stewart cracks De Morcerf with a solid left hand. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Dylan Stewart dominated that second round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!
Horrible takedown by De Morcerf or perhaps it was just good defense by Stewart which made him look bad. Stewart throws a 1-2 combo that connects squarely on De Morcerf's jaw, knocking him onto his back! Stewart dives in looking to finish as De Morcerf flails his arms in a desperate attempt to block Stewart's strikes! Stewart is raining down hammerfists and the ref stops it! De Morcerf's desperate flailing just didn't constitute intelligent defence. Some people will probably question the ref's decision but De Morcerf was definitely hurt and the ref saved him from taking unnecessary punishment. A fighter's safety is paramount in this sport.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:12 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Dylan Stewart! The defeated Albert De Morcerf had this to say: 'It was my lose, and i dont like its taste. I am going to train harder for not to taste it again!'.
