Rodriguez's entrance music is Dan Balan Beautiful Girl. A fine choice. Sprole has chosen Youre Gonna Go Far, Kid as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Sprole prevents a takedown attempt there.
Sprole tries a knee to the head but Rodriguez blocks it.
Sprole is trying to maintain a safe position but Rodriguez gets an underhook and turns Sprole into the cage.

Sprole is trying to trip Rodriguez. He has hold of a leg but Rodriguez is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Sprole persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
Rodriguez tries to land a sweep but no joy.

We've been hearing good reports from Rodriguez's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Sprole stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rodriguez has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no!
