Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Fallon Fox (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rafael Suez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Buckle up people - heeeeeeeeeere we go!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
10 - 6 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Fallon Fox! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
12 - 8 - 0, fighting out of New York, Rafael Suez! The judges for this bout are Alec Ball, Ian Loll and Dillan Fox.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Suez connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Suez misses with a double jab
and Fox counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Suez is looking to improve his position.
Suez is trying to control but can't.
Fox trying to control the action but Suez is working from the bottom. Suez wants to get back to full guard. Fox is looking for a kimura but Suez is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Fox to get the leverage.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suez trying to hold on to Fox's head to control him but Fox postures up.
Suez gets full guard. Fox trying to control the position from guard on top but Suez is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Suez is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Fox has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Suez can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Fox controls the pace. Suez working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Fox.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fox trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Suez looking for a guillotine here but Fox defends easily.
Fox postures up in Suez's guard and throws a big left but Suez blocks it. Suez manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
Fox is squirming around, avoiding Suez's attempts to control the action.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Fox tries to hold on but Suez pushes him away. Suez trying to control but Fox is having none of it. Fox regains half guard. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Suez is working for a kimura here but Fox manages to reverse the position and he's now in Suez's guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Rafael Suez will probably get the nod. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.
Suez moves out of range as Fox strikes. Suez falls off balance throwing a combination
and Fox counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Fox trying to control but Suez is working from the bottom. Fox throwing strikes from guard but Suez blocks nicely. Fox showing good wrestling skills to control the position. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fox accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suez tries to land a sweep but no joy. Suez has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Fox is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Suez. Fox is putting a hurting on Suez here, landing some big shots from side control. Suez is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard. Fox sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Suez defending well though. Fallon Fox overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Suez is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Fox's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Fox's back! Our spies down at at Stark Slugger Society - NY inform us that Suez has really been working on his submissions in the buildup to this fight. Will it pay off? Suez gets his hands free as Fox looks to control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Fox turns into Suez and is now in his guard.
Fox throws a big elbow that misses. Fox preventing the sweep. Fox postures up and lands some nice ground and pound. Suez is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Suez is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Fox regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Suez.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Fox pulls Suez in close to prevent any damage. Suez trying to control the position from guard on top but Fox is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Suez trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Fox wants to control but Suez passes easily into half guard.
Suez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fox has managed to free his arm - good work.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Suez is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Fox sees it coming and defends easily. Fox tries to roll over but Suez keeps him under control. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Suez is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Fox has managed to free his arm - good work. Suez is thwarting Fox's attempts to control the position. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Fallon Fox dominated that second round. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! This is the final round!
No joy there for Suez, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Fox misses with a left hand and Suez counters with a nice double leg into side control. Fox won't be happy with that. Fox is trying to control Suez's posture but Suez avoids it. Fox is trying to improve his position. Fox is working hard here to advance position. Suez working away. Suez tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Suez has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Suez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Fox keeps working.
That's one minute gone in the round. Suez postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Suez goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Fox has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Suez but great work by Fox. Suez is looking for a sweep. Fox lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Suez wants to control but Fox postures up. Fox working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Suez sneaks back into half guard. Fox sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Suez defending well though. Suez controlling the leg, holding on to half guard. Suez looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Suez is looking for a sweep. Fox is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Fox is looking to stall here but Suez recovers full guard. Fox throws a big right hand that misses. Suez working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Fox doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Fox manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Fox drops back, looking for a kneebar! Suez looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Suez looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Suez!

And that's the end of the fight! Rafael Suez comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Suez has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
