Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Nicolo Avecilla (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hung Nguyen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

3 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Hung Nguyen!
The judges for this bout are Donatello Bradman, Ron Honeybunn and Damien Edna.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Avecilla buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Nguyen takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Nguyen, as that shot connected.
Nguyen looks to score with a jab to the body but Avecilla is just out of range.
Avecilla thows a left - swing and a miss!
Avecilla throws an off balance right hand
and Nguyen counters with a series of strikes. Avecilla will be more careful next time no doubt.
Left hook, right uppercut from Nguyen.
Nguyen's corner calls for a 1-2. Nguyen obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
A head kick misses from Avecilla.
Nguyen throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Avecilla misses with an uppercut. Nguyen saw that one coming.
Avecilla misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Avecilla scores with a kick to the body.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
A punch combination from Nguyen misses.
Nguyen chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Avecilla can pounce on him.
Nguyen looks winded!
Avecilla misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Nguyen lands a slapping body shot.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Avecilla clinches up with Nguyen and pushes him back against the cage.
Avecilla throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Nguyen blocks it with crossed arms.
Avecilla is trying to wear down his opponent with knees to the body.
Nguyen breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Avecilla fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Avecilla misses with a head kick.
A head kick lands from Avecilla that sends Nguyen to the canvas. Nguyen tries to scramble back to his feet but Avecilla brings him back down into side control.
Nguyen is rocked!
It looks like Hung Nguyen has been cut.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Avecilla lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Nguyen down.
Nguyen is still in real trouble! Can Avecilla finish him?
Avecilla scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Nguyen to see if he's OK.
Avecilla prevents Nguyen from escaping the position.
Check out the look on Avecilla's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Avecilla looks up at the clock and then as Nguyen takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Avecilla smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

Avecilla in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Nguyen looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Avecilla turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
