Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wanderlei Silva (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jacob Sebastian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
8 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Wanderlei Silva! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jacob Sebastian! The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and Frank Dennis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sebastian throws a predictable looking body shot
and Silva counters by moving into the clinch. Sebastian tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Silva just stands there and leans against the cage. Silva is trying to break the clinch but Sebastian is controlling him. Silva has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Silva looks like he'd prefer to be striking at range right now. Silva avoids the elbow strike from Sebastian, against the cage.

That's one minute gone in the round. Silva's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Sebastian takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Silva slips under a jab. Sebastian shoots in looking for a takedown. Silva tries to sprawl out of it but Sebastian keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Silva manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Wanderlei Silva has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jacob Sebastian. Silva misses with a jab, cross combination.

Danga de danga de dang - Silva scores with a four punch combination! Sebastian throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Silva. Silva throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. Both fighters are looking to counter, which isn't making for the most exciting fight in the world. Silva avoids a punch combination nicely.
Silva throws a right hand that Sebastian ducks under and follows up with a left that Sebastian also avoids with ease.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Silva plants his feet and lands a nice head kick! Sebastian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Sebastian has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight. Sebastian misses the jab. Sebastian walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head. Sebastian fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Sebastian misses with an uppercut. Silva saw that one coming. Silva lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Danga de danga de dang - Silva scores with a four punch combination! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sebastian drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Jacob Sebastian seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Silva ducks down and throws a hook to the body. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Wanderlei Silva dominated that round. That's time! Silva's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Sebastian throws a poor cross that misses
and Silva connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Sebastian swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Silva counters with a nice double leg into guard. Silva wants to stand and escape but instead Sebastian has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Silva preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Silva wants to stand up but Sebastian is controlling him. Silva keeping moving, preventing Sebastian from controlling successfully. Sebastian drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Silva dives on top into guard. Silva has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Sebastian looking for a guillotine here but Silva defends easily.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sebastian has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Silva is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Sebastian.
That's one minute gone in the round. Silva tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Silva has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Silva tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it. Silva slows the pace down. Silva wants to control but Sebastian is keeping him busy.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Sebastian avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Silva. Sebastian is trying to control Silva's posture but Silva avoids it. Silva decides to stand back up. Silva steps back and let's Sebastian get back to his feet. Sebastian tries to close the distance and clinch but Silva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Sebastian throws a nice looking combination but Silva bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Silva's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Silva duly obliges. Sebastian goes for a double leg but Silva avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Silva continues to drive forward.

Silva scores to the head and body with a nice combination! We've been told by Silva's head coaches at Bi-polar Asylum that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Sebastian throws a poor cross that misses
and Silva counters with a two punch combo. Silva lands a nice hook to Sebastian's body. Sebastian takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes. Silva is working the combinations to good effect here. Silva lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sebastian circles away quickly and effectively. Sloppy strikes from Silva. Those never looked like landing. Silva throws a series of strikes that have Sebastian backpedaling.

and Silva counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Silva lands a jab to the nose. A jab from Sebastian misses. Silva throws a series of punches but Sebastian moves out of range. Silva wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sebastian has closed the distance and engaged Silva in a clinch.
Silva escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Sebastian shoots in looking for a takedown but Silva manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sebastian's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sebastian swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Sebastian nods at Silva to acknowledge the strikes. A nice combination there by Silva.
Silva feints a jab promting Sebastian to slip. Silva then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Sebastian slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.

Silva goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo. Some wild striking there from Sebastian.
Sebastian closes this distance looking for a takedown but Silva circles away. Silva scores with a nice head shot.
That's four minutes gone in the round. A decent looking cross lands there for Silva. Jacob Sebastian has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Silva fails to land with a series of punches.
Silva will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

And that's the end of the fight! Wanderlei Silva showed his dominance in that final round. Well Silva has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
