Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Austin Lyle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bugoy Swatson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Austin Lyle looks tired to me. Hopefully he has got enough gas left in the tank to put in a good performance.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Swatson with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Swatson shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Lyle as he avoids it easily.

Swatson is pressed up against the cage. Lyle has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Swatson down to the mat. Swatson avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

Swatson tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Lyle paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Lyle might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Swatson wants to control from the top but Lyle keeps moving.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Swatson wants to get up but he can't break Lyle's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
The ref stands the fighters back up. Bugoy Swatson was stalling too much, according to the referee.

and Lyle decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Swatson's guard.
Lyle drops back, looking for a kneebar! Swatson looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Swatson looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Swatson!
Swatson wants to stand but Lyle has his arm trapped.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Lyle is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Swatson off and has taken his back!
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lyle has the hooks in and he's looking for a rear naked choke here. Swatson is defending well but eventually Lyle manages to get an arm under the chin and he's locked on the RNC! Swatson has no choice but to tap now! He does! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:50 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Austin Lyle!
