Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Young Crane (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sasha Arshavin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Arshavin's choice of entrance music: All about us. Sasha Arshavin looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Young Crane! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Sasha Arshavin! The judges for this bout are Paul Gruel, Colin Fray and Ryoma Takatsuka.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Crane throws out a leg kick but Arshavin moves out of range and Crane only half commits. Arshavin gets caught napping as Crane dives in and scores a takedown. Arshavin manages to retain guard. Crane stopping the sweep attempt from Arshavin. Arshavin has a closed guard, preventing Crane from standing up. Arshavin working a defensive guard here.
Arshavin is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Crane decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
That's one minute gone in the round. Crane moves into the clinch. Crane manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Arshavin trying to move into half guard but instead Crane has managed to sweep! Crane stands and steps away. Arshavin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Crane misses with a two punch combination.
Crane lands with an overhand left. Arshavin throws a right hand that misses
and Crane connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. No luck with that takedown attempt from Crane. Arshavin has Crane up against the cage in a clinch.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Crane misses with a hook from the clinch. Crane misses with the head strike.
Arshavin will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Crane up against the cage. Arshavin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Sasha Arshavin seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Arshavin shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Arshavin showed some decent athleticism there. Arshavin really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Crane. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Crane is positioning himself well to prevent Arshavin advancing to mount.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Arshavin is keen to just control but Crane is a slippery customer. Arshavin is actively looking for submissions here but good counter grappling here from Crane as he works his way to full guard.
Crane is pulling down on Arshavin's head to control his posture.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Crane has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Arshavin should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Crane has tightened it up now! Arshavin should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Triangle). Young Crane! In defeat, Sasha Arshavin stepped up to the mic, saying 'I was not prepared enough. He was superior TODAY.'.
