Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Too Luck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tensai Riggs (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tensai Riggs has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Too Luck!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Tensai Riggs!
The judges for this bout are Russell Pearce, Anthony Taglia and Jorge Garcia.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Riggs with a poor takedown
and Luck counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Riggs uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Luck.
Riggs tries to clinch but Luck moves out of range.
Riggs misses with an uppercut.
Luck leaves Riggs with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Riggs fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Too Luck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tensai Riggs.
Luck throws the left hand but Riggs avoids the punch easily.

Riggs gets the takedown into side control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Luck is trying to get back to his feet.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Luck trying desperately to get back to his feet here but he's not having any joy at all. He's going to tire himself out if he's not careful.
Riggs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luck keeps working.
Luck pushes Riggs away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Riggs gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control.
Riggs tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Riggs tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.

Riggs is trying to land an Americana. He has the arm isolated but Luck is keeping cool and he's avoided the danger for now.
Luck knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Riggs on the ground.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

Riggs decides to stand back up. Riggs steps back and let's Luck get back to his feet.
Luck connects with a looping right hand.

Riggs gets a takedown into half guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riggs is figuring out what he wants to do next.
Luck is trying to stand.
Riggs stalling.
Riggs wants to get back to his feet.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Riggs content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.

Tensai Riggs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.

Riggs gets the takedown into side control.
Luck is not content to let Riggs control the position.
Luck wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Riggs wants to lay and pray for a moment but Luck keeps working.
Luck is trying to get back to his feet.
Riggs is pausing for a moment. What's he doing? It looks like he's clearing his nose. Oh dude! He's shot a load of snot all down Luck's shoulder. That is not cool.
Riggs's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
The referee claps his hands together and tells the fighters to work.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tensai Riggs was stalling too much, according to the referee.
Riggs takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Tensai Riggs seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Luck keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Luck looks to throw the jab but Riggs is out of range.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Tensai Riggs dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!



The fight moves into the clinch position.

Luck escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Riggs shoots in but no luck this time.
Luck lands a nice shot that snaps Riggs's head back.
The fight stays on the outside here - Riggs looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Riggs drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Riggs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Luck.
Riggs tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Luck defends well and Riggs ends up having to push Luck into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

That's one minute gone in the round.

Riggs breaks the clinch.
Luck is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
A jab from Luck misses.
Jab, jab by Luck - just one landing.
Riggs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Luck manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

Riggs closes the distance and clinches.

Luck breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Riggs moves out of range as Luck strikes.

Riggs closes the distance and pushes Luck back into the cage.

Luck is fighting off a takedown attempt but Riggs is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Luck to the mat. Luck regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Riggs slips nicely into half guard.
Tensai Riggs has got the better of the ground game so far.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Riggs prevents Luck from standing back up.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Riggs controlling the pace.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Tensai Riggs hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.
Riggs is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Riggs shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Luck as he jumps to the side.
Too Luck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tensai Riggs.
Luck is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Riggs.
Riggs throws a head kick but Luck moves out of range.
Riggs slips a straight right by Luck.
Nice defenses there by Riggs.
Riggs tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Luck manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Too Luck is winning the standup battle so far.
Riggs shoots in looking for a takedown. Luck tries to sprawl out of it but Riggs keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Luck manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.

Riggs shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Riggs was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Riggs controls the position.
Luck is looking to work his way out of this bad position but Riggs is controlling him well.
Riggs wants to control but Luck is keeping him busy.
Luck is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Riggs controlling the position from side mount.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close second round but I would say that Too Luck will probably get the nod.
That's time! Luck's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!


Riggs dives in for a single leg takedown but Luck sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Riggs fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Luck is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.
Luck has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate.
Riggs has a couple of punches blocked by Luck.
Riggs goes for a takedown attempt but Luck pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Too Luck has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Tensai Riggs.
Luck throws a jab but it's blocked by Riggs.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Riggs uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Luck.
Luck scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Riggs slips under a jab.
Riggs fails with an attempt to clinch.
Riggs dives in and grabs Luck's left leg, looking for a takedown. Luck pushes down on Riggs's head and hops out.

Riggs darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Riggs stops Luck from getting back to his feet.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Luck kicks Riggs off and gets back to his feet.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Riggs changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Luck looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Riggs tries to advance to mount but can't.
Luck is pushing Riggs's head away, looking to escape. Riggs manages to hold on to the position though.
Riggs controlling the position from side mount.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Luck tries to escape but Riggs is in control.
Luck is being controlled here.

Tensai Riggs has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet.
Riggs steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Luck.

Riggs shoots in and gets a takedown into Luck's guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Riggs is stalling in the full guard.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Luck is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

The ref stands the fighters back up, due to lack of action by Tensai Riggs.
Riggs misses with a low kick.

And that's the end of the fight!
Tensai Riggs comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I think Riggs has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
