And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Elvis Blanc and Alec Ball.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hefernon rushes Johnson and presses him up against the cage.
Johnson lands with a light punch inside.
Johnson landing some nice looking knees to the body.
Johnson has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Hefernon after a bit of a struggle.
Johnson scores with a knee to the head.
Johnson takes a knee right on the jaw!
It looks like Brody Johnson has been cut.
Johnson really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Johnson is trying to drag Hefernon to the mat but Hefernon just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Johnson breaks the clinch.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Johnson moves into the clinch.
Johnson landing knees to the body. They look like they could hurt.
Johnson drops down looking for an ankle pick but Hefernon pulls his leg out and moves away.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Brody Johnson. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Johnson lands a left and a right that send Hefernon crashing to the mat, dazed. Johnson thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Hefernon is rocked!

Johnson feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hefernon's calf.
Hefernon is still on wobbly legs! Can Johnson finish him?
Johnson closes the distance and clinches.
Johnson has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Hefernon uses from the top position.

Johnson lands with a jab that stuns his opponent. Hefernon is looking to close the distance but Johnson sees it coming and throws a beautiful knee! Hefernon crumbles to the mat and that's all she wrote! Let's hope Hefernon is OK because that was naaaaaasty!
