Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sanford Walsh (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Zyb (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Zyb has chosen "Battle" by Gangstarr as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Sanford Walsh! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Chris Zyb! The judges for this bout are Dean Styles, Anthony Taglia and Lou da Vinci.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Zyb has closed the distance and engaged Walsh in a clinch.
Walsh is trying to pull guard but Zyb has him pressed against the cage. Zyb tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Zyb breaks the clinch.
Zyb lands with a kick to the temple. Walsh shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
It looks like Sanford Walsh has been cut. Zyb decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. Walsh pushes Zyb off looking to stand but Zyb dives back in and keeps control.
Walsh makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Walsh. Walsh working a defensive guard here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Walsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zyb defends well. Walsh working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Zyb doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Zyb manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem. Zyb trying to control the position from guard on top but Walsh is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Zyb sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Walsh's guard. Walsh wants to control but Zyb is keeping busy.
Zyb gets to his feet - back to striking we go! Zyb clinches up against the cage. Zyb tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Walsh tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Walsh keeps control of Zyb as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks. Zyb escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Some bone on bone action there as Walsh checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. A head kick by Zyb misses and Walsh counters with a three punch combination, finished off with a leg kick. Nice work. Zyb rushes Walsh and presses him up against the cage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walsh fails to pull guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sanford Walsh. That's going to take a lot out of him. Zyb throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
Walsh wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Walsh is trying to pull guard but Zyb has him pressed against the cage. Zyb tries to land knees in the clinch but Walsh avoids the damage to the body. Zyb has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Walsh regains guard immediately. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Walsh controls Zyb momentarily but Zyb frees himself. Walsh is breathing heavily. Walsh keeping moving, preventing Zyb from controlling successfully. Zyb wants to pass the guard but Walsh is keeping the position.

The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Zyb looking to pass the guard. Zyb passes Walsh's left leg - he's now in half guard. Walsh is looking for a sweep. Zyb is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Zyb stands up from half guard. Zyb throws a half hearted mid kick.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Zyb thows a body kick. Walsh tries to catch it but that hurt him. Zyb turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick. Zyb looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zyb cracks the inside of Walsh's front leg. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Zyb connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there. Zyb throws a head kick that misses. Zyb lands a nice leg kick that just misses Walsh's sensitive parts. Zyb delivers a nice body kick. Walsh gets caught napping as Zyb dives in and scores a takedown. Walsh manages to retain guard. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Zyb distracts Walsh with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Zyb content to stall in guard here. Zyb sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Walsh's guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Chris Zyb dominated that round. The cut man is working on Sanford Walsh's cut. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.

No joy there for Zyb, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Zyb's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Zyb misses with a low kick. Zyb misses with an uppercut
and Walsh counters with a big head kick but Zyb shrugs it off. Chris Zyb seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Walsh avoids the head kick by Zyb.
Walsh instigates a clinch. Zyb pushes Walsh back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walsh tries to pull guard but Zyb holds him up against the cage and eventually Walsh drops back down to his feet.

Zyb is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Walsh can't fight it off and eventually Zyb manages to take the fight to the floor. Walsh looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Walsh is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Zyb is controlling him. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Walsh is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Zyb defends well. Zyb works a leg free and moves into half guard. Zyb looks to score some points with some ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Zyb stands up from half guard. Zyb looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Zyb throws a sloppy head kick and Walsh moves out of range easily. Zyb scoring well with a low kick there.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Zyb tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Walsh takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
Zyb throws a leg kick which misses Walsh's front leg but catches the back leg as Walsh tries to avoid it. Zyb lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range. Ouch! a nice leg kick from Zyb, right into the meat.

Zyb drives through with a takedown into guard.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walsh wants to sweep but no luck. Zyb has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Zyb stands and throws Walsh's legs to the side, diving into side control. Walsh tries to buck Zyb off but Zyb is having none of it. Zyb works to advance to full mount. Walsh defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Zyb with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Chris Zyb has got the better of the ground game so far. Walsh is trying to stand up. Walsh is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Zyb is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Walsh has managed to escape the submission attempt.
This has been an exciting period of action! Walsh throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Walsh is trying to stand but he's just given Zyb his back. Zyb sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Walsh taps out!
