Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Alexi Takala (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alex Lannon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
6 - 15 - 1, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alexi Takala! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Alex Lannon! The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Nard Betker and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Takala rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Lannon counters with a stiff right hand. Lannon tries for a takedown but Takala sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Lannon is trying hard to land a takedown here. Takala sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Takala lands with a shot to the body. Lannon with a poor takedown and Takala moves into the clinch. Alexi Takala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Lannon. Takala pressing his opponent against the cage. Takala misses with a short punch on the inside. Lannon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Lannon blocks a body shot from Takala.
That's one minute gone in the round. Takala misses with a hook to the ribs.
Lannon is looking to control Takala's arms but Takala gets an underhook and turns him. Now Lannon has his back to the cage. Lannon wants to take the fight to the mat but Takala manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Takala cracks Lannon with a nice body shot. Lannon wants to stall.
Lannon stops a takedown attempt from Takala.
Takala is pressed up against the cage. Lannon has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Takala down to the mat. Takala avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Lannon fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Takala avoids it really well and circles away. Lannon avoids a punch combination nicely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Lannon fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Lannon tries to clinch up. Takala moves into the clinch. Takala taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
Lannon is trying to force a seperation but Takala has the dominant position. Takala scores with an uppercut up the middle. Lannon wants to break free but Takala has control.
Takala misses with a body punch.
Takala tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Lannon's elbow. Takala slows down the pace here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takala drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Lannon gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Takala lands a shot to the body. Takala throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Lannon looking to slow down the pace here. Lannon trying to land knees to the body.
Takala misses with a shot to the kidneys.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Lannon wants to take the fight to the mat but Takala manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch. Takala is defending well against a takedown attempt. Takala scores with a hook to the body. A nice left hand lands by Takala.
Takala connects with a knee to the head.
Takala tries a body shot but Lannon blocks it.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Takala misses with a punch to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Alexi Takala dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Takala throws a leg kick but Lannon moved away. Takala just misses with a punch to the body.
Alex Lannon seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Lannon dives in for a single leg takedown but Takala sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Lannon is looking to take this one to the mat. Lannon pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage. Nice body punch from Takala. Lannon fails to pull guard.
Alexi Takala has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alex Lannon. Lannon tries to pull guard but Takala forces him back to his feet, against the cage. Takala's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Lannon misses with a takedown attempt - Takala sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Takala lands an overhand right.
That's one minute gone in the round. Lannon fails to land the takedown. Lannon is breathing heavily. Takala misses with a two punch combination.
Lannon shoots and misses and Takala counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Takala misses with a right hand and Lannon moves into the clinch. Takala breaks from the clinch.
Takala looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Lannon is fending him off so far but Takala persists. Nope, Lannon circles away and we're back to standing. Takala moves into range and clinches up with Lannon. Takala is clearly stalling here... Pick up the pace son.
Lannon goes for a takedown attempt but Takala pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Takala tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lannon was well out of range. Poor timing from Takala. Lannon moves forwards but Takala connects with a nice, crisp jab. Takala scores with a nice strike. Alex Lannon is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Lannon tries to clinch up. Takala lands a leg kick that knocks Lannon off balance momentarily. Lannon looks to land a body kick but Takala moved away. Takala throws a leg kick which misses Lannon's front leg but catches the back leg as Lannon tries to avoid it. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Lannon fails with a takedown attempt. The crowd cheers as Takala lands an impressive looking overhand right. Lannon doesn't seem phased though.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Takala forces Lannon back against the cage and clinches. Lannon doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Takala lands a shoulder strike that jolts his opponent's head backwards. Lannon wants to get back to striking at distance but Takala won't allow it.
Takala tries to work over Lannon's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Takala avoiding damage as Lannon throws knees to the body.
Alexi Takala has scored more points in the clinch so far. Kneeeeees! The crowd are calling for knees to the body. Takala obliges. Takala throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Lannons head. A nice left hand lands by Takala.
Lannon tries for a takedown but Takala manages to get underhooks.
Takala is trying to trip Lannon. He has hold of a leg but Lannon is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Takala persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Takala is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Takala stands and throws Lannon's legs to the side, diving into side control. Takala has an Americana. Lannon didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Takala is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Takala hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
