Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Peter Panzerfaust (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Isaias Askan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Askan has chosen Kasabian - Empire as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Isaias Askan has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Isaias Askan! The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Daniel Blasius and Patrick Alders.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Askan checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Panzerfaust motions for Askan to come forward. Panzerfaust throws a leg kick but it misses it's target. Panzerfaust seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Panzerfaust lands a lovely overhand right. Askan throws a series of punches but Panzerfaust avoids them all with ease. Askan shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Panzerfaust but Panzerfaust pushes him off and we're back to square one. Panzerfaust misses with a low kick as Askan jumps back. Panzerfaust misses with a low kick.
Askan drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Askan looking to pass the guard. Askan must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Askan throwing strikes from guard but Panzerfaust blocks nicely. Askan trying to control the position from guard on top but Panzerfaust is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Panzerfaust preventing the sweep. Panzerfaust connects with a couple of short punches. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Askan can do anything to dispel that myth. Panzerfaust throws a big elbow that misses. Panzerfaust distracts Askan with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. Panzerfaust forces his way into half guard. Askan is not content to let Panzerfaust control the position. Panzerfaust winds up and cracks Askan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Panzerfaust is trying to control. Askan wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Askan trying to control from the bottom.
Panzerfaust has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
 That's four minutes gone in the round. Askan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Panzerfaust working over Askan with some ground and pound. Askan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. This has been an exciting period of action! Panzerfaust controlling the action here. Askan won't allow Panzerfaust to pass to mount. Askan tries to get to full guard but Panzerfaust has control of the leg. Askan avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Panzerfaust. Askan is doing well to avoid being mounted. He's controlling the position at the moment. Askan makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Askan. Panzerfaust wants to control from the top but Askan keeps moving. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Panzerfaust lands a couple of elbows. Askan trying to keep a closed guard but Panzerfaust is proving a slippery customer.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Peter Panzerfaust will probably get the nod. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Panzerfaust does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. Peter Panzerfaust seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Askan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Panzerfaust sprawls well. Panzerfaust wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Askan gets slowly back to his feet. Askan dives in and grabs Panzerfaust's left leg, looking for a takedown. Panzerfaust pushes down on Askan's head and hops out. Panzerfaust fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Askan avoids it really well and circles away. Askan moves away from the strike by Panzerfaust. Askan moves out of range of the strikes.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Askan ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Askan checks the leg kick nicely there.
Askan throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
No luck for Askan with that takedown attempt. Peter Panzerfaust has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Isaias Askan. Panzerfaust keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. Panzerfaust darts in looking for a takedown but Askan gets double underhooks and turns Panzerfaust into the cage. Askan fails to pull guard.
Panzerfaust tries to work over Askan's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Panzerfaust is pressed up against the cage. Askan has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Panzerfaust down to the mat. Panzerfaust avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Askan dives in and grabs Panzerfaust's left leg, looking for a takedown. Panzerfaust pushes down on Askan's head and hops out. Askan misses with a takedown attempt - Panzerfaust sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
 That's two minutes gone in the round. Askan scores to the head and body with a nice combination!
Panzerfaust looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Panzerfaust takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Askan is trying to control but can't.
Panzerfaust lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt. Panzerfaust trying to control the action but Askan is working from the bottom. Panzerfaust working Askan over with strikes. Askan is looking to improve his position.
Panzerfaust looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Askan with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
 That's three minutes gone in the round. Askan flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.
Panzerfaust prevents Askan from improving his position. Panzerfaust is nestled in close to Askan, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Panzerfaust landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Panzerfaust working the head and body with strikes. Panzerfaust looks to score some points with some ground and pound. Askan trying to control from the bottom.
Panzerfaust winds up and cracks Askan with a swinging punch to the side of the head. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.  That's four minutes gone in the round. A big strike lands for Panzerfaust! That's really hurt Askan and he's turned his back - Panzerfaust keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Panzerfaust jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
