Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jorge Junior (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Ehrmantraut (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ehrmantraut comes into a darkened arena with his song building. non existent kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

27 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jorge Junior! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
17 - 7 - 0, fighting out of London, Michael Ehrmantraut! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, Richard Clark and Sam Margolis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Junior checks a low kick from Ehrmantraut. A punch lands to the side of Ehrmantraut 's head but he takes it in his stride. Junior shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Ehrmantraut's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Junior tries to free his leg and advance position but Ehrmantraut is retaining full guard. Junior throws a big elbow that misses. Junior missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Junior missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Junior looking to pass the guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Ehrmantraut throws a hook but Junior blocks it. Junior scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Junior checks a leg kick. Junior scores with a jab. Ehrmantraut tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Junior paws at him with a jab and circles away. Ehrmantraut takes a head kick and keeps coming.
A telegraphed right hand from Ehrmantraut misses the target. Ehrmantraut throws a low kick but Junior avoids it. A head kick misses from Junior. Junior connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe. Ehrmantraut throws out a leg kick but Junior moves out of range and Ehrmantraut only half commits. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Ehrmantraut misses with a straight left. Junior seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym. Junior jabbing away but nothing is landing. Junior moves out of range as Ehrmantraut strikes. Junior throws a sloppy head kick and Ehrmantraut moves out of range easily. A chopping leg kick lands by Ehrmantraut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. A swing and a miss from Junior. Junior fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Ehrmantraut. Ehrmantraut on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. Ehrmantraut throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. A jab lands there for Junior. Junior throws a lazy right hand but Ehrmantraut sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Junior throws a quick inside leg kick. Ehrmantraut scoring well with a low kick there.
Junior scores with a slapping inside leg kick. Junior slips under a jab from Ehrmantraut. Ehrmantraut moves out of range of the strikes. Ehrmantraut misses with a wild body shot. Ehrmantraut with a body punch. A glancing blow. Ehrmantraut ducks under a wild hook from Junior. Junior chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Ehrmantraut can pounce on him.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ehrmantraut takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.

Ehrmantraut has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.

Junior throws the left hand but Ehrmantraut avoids the punch easily. A big left from Ehrmantraut misses. Junior lands a front kick. Junior throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Ehrmantraut throws a looping overhand right but Junior ducks down to avoid it. Junior misses with a two punch combination.
Ehrmantraut throws a chopping leg kick but Junior manages to avoid taking any serious damage. Ehrmantraut clinches up with Junior and pushes him back against the cage. Junior stalling in the clinch but Ehrmantraut improves position. Ehrmantraut breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Ehrmantraut scores with a jab to the body. Ehrmantraut misses the shot to the body. Ehrmantraut scores with a shot to the body.

Ehrmantraut trying to control the action but Junior is working from the bottom. Ehrmantraut remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Ehrmantraut connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Junior some visible discomfort.

We're going to have a standup here because Jorge Junior wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Junior bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick. Ehrmantraut changes levels and scores with a jab to the body. Ehrmantraut looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Nice sprawl there from Junior as Ehrmantraut shoots in. Junior lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw. Junior waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Ehrmantraut. Junior fakes low and throws an overhand right that catches Ehrmantraut on the side of the head. Junior decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Junior is looking to pass Ehrmantraut's guard but actually Ehrmantraut recovers to full guard.

Junior throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Ehrmantraut was covering up waiting for the punch and Junior finishes the takedown easily into guard. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Junior preventing the sweep.
