Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Ben Zyskovitsi and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Backstrom misses with a wild combination.
Verhoeven fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Backstrom, pushing him back against the cage.
Backstrom is working for takedown but Verhoeven is calmly controlling the position for now.
Backstrom tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Verhoeven just stands there and leans against the cage.
Verhoeven breaks from the clinch.
Verhoeven shoots in and drives through. Backstrom sprawls well.
Verhoeven forces Backstrom back against the cage and clinches.
Verhoeven dodges an elbow strike from Backstrom.
Verhoeven is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Backstrom is defending well.
Verhoeven jumps into guard, dragging Backstrom to the mat.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.
Backstrom not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Verhoeven wants to control position but Backstrom is using a can opener to pass guard... He's turned it into a full on guillotine from mount now! Big trouble for Verhoeven here! He's turning a lovely shade of purple and yep! He's tapping out! I would say world class Jiu Jitsu but is it really? It was nice but let's not get silly about it.
