Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Keefe Sinclair! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Max Masters! The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Roosa Järviläinen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Sinclair takes the fight into the clinch. Sinclair is looking for a takedown. Masters avoids a wild elbow strike from Sinclair. Sinclair lands a nice elbow. Masters takes an elbow to the forehead. Sinclair misses with an elbow strike.
Sinclair comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Sinclair gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Masters.
Masters is trying to maintain a safe position but Sinclair gets an underhook and turns Masters into the cage. Sinclair misses with an elbow over the top. Masters has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Sinclair after a bit of a struggle. Sinclair has Masters pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Masters manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Masters is working for takedown but Sinclair is calmly controlling the position for now. Keefe Sinclair has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Max Masters. Sinclair is working for takedown but Masters is calmly controlling the position for now. Sinclair lands a glancing elbow in the clinch.
That's one minute gone in the round. Sinclair pushes off an throws an elbow but Masters leans to the side and avoids it. We're back to clinching against the cage. Sinclair comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush. Masters dodges an elbow strike from Sinclair.
Sinclair gets control of Masters's arms and successfully pulls guard. Sinclair will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Masters stands and throws Sinclair's legs to the side, diving into side control. Sinclair on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Sinclair tries to get out of the position. Sinclair is looking for a sweep. Masters wants to work for a kimura but he's foiled early by Sinclair, who protects the arm well. Masters is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Sinclair is trying to escape and Masters transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Sinclair is forced to tap! Nice work there by Masters! Very nice indeed!
