Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Ichi scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Ichi is figuring out what he wants to do next.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ichi is stalling here. Lara is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Ichi seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Lara has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Check out the look on Lara's face as he threw that strike - that's one determined fighter!
Lara lands an elbow.
Ichi is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Lara is working Ichi over with some ground and pound from side control.
Lara has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Lara decides to stand up, so the ref orders Ichi to his feet.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Ichi scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Ichi trying to control the position but Lara is working away.

Lara is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here.
Ichi wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lara keeps working.
Ichi is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Ichi looking to control but instead Lara has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard.
Lara could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Lara avoiding damage under a succession of punches from Ichi.

We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

Lara is defending against the submission attempts here by Ichi.
Ichi has decided to stand back up but his arm is trapped. Whilst he's worrying about his arm, Lara works to full guard.

Lara manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.
Lara is trying to break the clinch but Ichi is controlling him.

Ichi turns his hips and lands a very nice judo throw into side control!

Lara tries to strike but it doesn't land.
Lara gets back to half guard.
Lara tries to strike from the bottom but it doesn't land.
Lara works his way to full guard. Good work.

Lara pushes a forearm under Ichi's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Ichi is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
