Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ivan Lundin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Fedor Emelianenko (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Valeri Chadov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lundin throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body.

Emelianenko tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Lundin smiles and moves away.

Lundin is fighting off a takedown attempt but Emelianenko is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Lundin to the mat. Lundin regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat.
Lundin could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
Emelianenko won't allow Lundin to sweep him here.

Lundin escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Emelianenko gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Lundin has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Emelianenko finds it's way round the side to connect with Lundin's head.

Emelianenko is not content to let Lundin control the position.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.

and Lundin decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Emelianenko's guard.
Lundin wants to pass the guard but Emelianenko is keeping the position.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Emelianenko connects with a nice short shot to Lundin's temple.
