Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Stewart Fulton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Bitea Catalin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Catalin has chosen Korn - Falling Away from Me as his entrance music. Bitea Catalin told me before the fight that he's been watching a lot of DVDs so let's see if that helps him in this one! I can't wait to find out!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Luis Engracia and Daniel Cesar.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fulton takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.
Fulton tries to check the leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Catalin throws a right hand that Fulton ducks under and follows up with a left that Fulton also avoids with ease.
Fulton misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Fulton fails to land the takedown.
Fulton slips a jab and a cross from Catalin.
Catalin displaying good standup as he scores with a three punch combination.
Catalin throws a jab when Fulton was well out of range.
Fulton looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Catalin is fending him off so far but Fulton persists. Nope, Catalin circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Stewart Fulton. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Catalin looks for the body kick but Fulton saw that one coming.
Fulton is trying hard to land a takedown here. Catalin sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.

Catalin scores with a kick to the midsection.
Catalin throws a head kick that half lands.
Fulton is rocked!
Catalin cracks Fulton with a left hook right on the temple and Fulton goes down! He's out! Referee! Stop the fight! Catalin lands a few more punches before the dopey ref steps in - hopefully Fulton is OK!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Bitea Catalin!
After winning the bout, Bitea Catalin thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
