Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are George Francis, Stewart Dunkirk and Chris Downing.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Yurameshi lands a nice shot that snaps Alvarez's head back.
Alvarez looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Yurameshi moves in looking to clinch but Alvarez pushes him off.
Yurameshi's coach down at LOD: Lightning Kicks was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Yurameshi's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Yurameshi tries to clinch but Alvarez moves out of range.

Yurameshi has managed to clinch.
A short body shot lands from Yurameshi as the two fighters clinch.
Yurameshi doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Alvarez keeps control of Yurameshi as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Yurameshi is trying to break the clinch but Alvarez has him pressed against the cage.
Yurameshi misses with a hook to the ribs.
Alvarez prevents a body shot from Yurameshi.
Good anti-grappling being displayed by Alvarez as Yurameshi tries to tie him up.
Yurameshi lands a body punch in the clinch.
Alvarez tries a body shot but Yurameshi blocks it.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.
Yurameshi is trying to slow the pace down but that's a couple of times in a row that he's tried to get underhooks and Alvarez has denied him.
Yurameshi is leaning against Alvarez and scores with a nice uppercut to the body.

Alvarez jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Yurameshi walks away with a smile on his face. Alvarez gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Yurameshi scores with a jab to the body.
Yurameshi tries to close the distance and clinch up but Alvarez swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Alvarez ducks right into an uppercut from Yurameshi.

A jab from Yurameshi finds it's way through Alvarez's defenses.
Yurameshi scores with a nice head shot.

Alvarez is rocked!
Yusuke Yurameshi seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Yurameshi has cracked Alvarez with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Yurameshi lands another huge swinging hook and Alvarez tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Alvarez, before Yurameshi can land any more shots!
