The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hood shoots in and bounces De Morcerf off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
De Morcerf looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Hood throwing strikes from guard but De Morcerf blocks nicely.
Hood lands a couple of elbows.
Hood throws a big elbow that misses.
Hood scoring with some ground and pound.
Hood postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Hood is working De Morcerf over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Hood works over De Morcerf with some ground and pound from guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Hood postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
De Morcerf is rocked!
De Morcerf is trying to control the position from the bottom.

Hood is looking to stand up but De Morcerf won't let him.
Hood is in close to De Morcerf's body, working some short punches and elbows.
Hood gets to his feet. De Morcerf looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Hood closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops De Morcerf! Hood dives in looking to finish! De Morcerf is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:45 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Amado Hood!
Albert De Morcerf spoke after the fight, saying 'It was my lose, and i dont like its taste. I am going to train harder for not to taste it again!'.
