The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Amado misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Amado throws a head kick but Adamek moves out of range.
Adamek uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Amado.

enabling Adamek to counter with a crisp jab.
Amado looks for the body kick but Adamek saw that one coming.
Adamek shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Amado sprawls well. Amado wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Adamek gets slowly back to his feet.

Adamek takes a head kick and shrugs it off.

Amado looks to land a combination but Adamek avoids it well.

Adamek tries to clinch but Amado is having none of it.

The ref stands the fighters back up. Tomasz Adamek wasn't doing enough on the ground.
Adamek takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.
Amado throws a jab when Adamek was well out of range.
The fighters circle, before Amado throws a beautiful high kick that crashes into Adamek's neck, sending him stumbling to the floor! Amado lands more strikes and forces a referee stoppage! That one ended in an instant!
