Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, Frank Dennis and Daniel Franklin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Brown is working for a submission of some sort.
Russell is pressing down on Brown's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Russell wants to sweep but no luck.
Brown trying to control but Russell is working from the bottom.
Brown pushes down on Russell's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Russell is trying to get back to full guard.
Russell is looking to control Brown's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Russell avoid being mounted?
Brown is looking for a kimura here.

Brown seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Russell does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Russell wants to control the action here but instead Brown manages to pass to full mount!
Brown wants to control the pace but Russell is squirming around nicely.
Brown is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.
Russell is looking to get to half guard.
Russell knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Brown on the ground.

Brown lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
Brown can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Russell is looking to escape.
Russell tries to hold on but Brown postures up.
Russell tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Brown wants to finish this one by submission but Russell is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Brown.
Brown tries to control but Russell wriggling away.

Russell tries to improve his position but instead Brown has taken his back!
Brown has Russell flattened out and is raining down punches.
Even with his hooks in, Brown manages to miss with strikes from the back.
Brown working for a RNC but it's not happening just yet.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brown has managed to slip his arm under Russell's chin. This could be all over... yep, Russell is tapping out! Submission win for Brown.
