Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Victor Loosa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Herb Green (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Green has chosen Down - Hail The Leaf as his entrance music. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Victor Loosa! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
8 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Herb Green! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Daniel Franklin and Alan Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Loosa moving in and out of range nicely, whilst landing the scoring shot. Green takes a shot right to the bread basket. Loosa misses with a low kick as Green jumps back. Green throws a poor cross that misses
and Loosa counters with a lovely shot to the body. Loosa dips down and scores with a jab to the body. Green pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Loosa throws a shot from downtown. Green moves away and avoids it. Loosa scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent. Loosa lands with a cross. Victor Loosa seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Green throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Loosa ducks under a wild hook from Green.
That's one minute gone in the round. Loosa fakes a head shot and lands one to the body. Green drops his hands momentarily and Loosa takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head. Loosa getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Loosa clobbers Green with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Loosa misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Green counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Green. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Green wants to control from the top but Loosa keeps moving. Green content to stall in guard here. Green trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Green looking to sit in guard and control but Loosa gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Green is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Loosa wants to pass the guard but Green is keeping the position.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green controlling Loosa's posture. Green is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Loosa is aware though and is defending well. Green looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Loosa passes into side control.
Green is trying to control Loosa's posture but Loosa avoids it.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green regains half guard. Green actively working from the bottom here. Green is trying to maintain the position but Loosa is very close to passing his half guard. Green looking for submissions off his back. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Green looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Herb Green will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Loosa lands with a right hand. Green misses with a straight right. Loosa sizes up Green with a pawing jab and scores with a straight right down the middle. Green throws a jab when Loosa was well out of range. Loosa missing with a left hand there. Green was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one. Green misses with a looping right. Some bone on bone action there as Green checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Green closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Loosa did well to prevent Green getting side control.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Loosa defends it well. Green is looking to take a break and control but Loosa is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Green prevents Loosa from improving his position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Green is looking for a kimura here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Loosa wants to get back to full guard but Green has passed into side control. Green trying to control the position but Loosa is working away. Green is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Loosa has escaped the position, nice work there.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Loosa is looking for a sweep. Loosa defending against the ground and pound. Green looking for an arm triangle but it's way too loose to do anything. Loosa tries to bench press Green off him but Green keeps the position.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Green landing a few strikes. Green is trying to get an arm triangle but Loosa is defending well. Loosa is positioning himself to get back to half guard. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Herb Green showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!
Decent striking displayed by Loosa there. Green drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Loosa looks to land a left hand but Green moved out of range nicely. Nice shot lands for Loosa.
It looks like Herb Green has been cut. Loosa uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Green. Green avoids the body shot from Loosa.
Excellent takedown into side control there by Green. Green working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Loosa knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Green on the ground.
That's one minute gone in the round. Green tries to advance to mount but Loosa denies him. My spies in The Lion's Den inform me that Green has been getting involved in the gym's BJJ sparring sessions. Let's see whether that pays dividends! Green looking to control but instead Loosa has slipped a leg in, to regain half guard. Victor Loosa has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
That's two minutes gone in the round. My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer. Green looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Green landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Green wants to take a breather but Loosa is having none of it. Well, if Green is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Green is trying to work for a kimura but Loosa is defending well.
Green looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Herb Green is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Green seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.

And that's the end of the fight! Herb Green comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Green winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
