Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Anthony Bishop (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gunter Streicher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Streicher is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Kære lille mormor. Anthony Bishop could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gunter Streicher's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Anthony Bishop!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Gunter Streicher!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bishop tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Streicher was well out of range. Poor timing from Bishop.
A combination from Streicher does no damage.

Streicher rushes Bishop and presses him up against the cage.
Streicher lands a nice elbow.


It looks like Anthony Bishop has been cut.

Streicher pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Bishop has Streicher up against the cage in a clinch.

Streicher jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bishop walks away with a smile on his face. Streicher gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Gunter Streicher seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Streicher lands a high kick to the side of Bishop's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Streicher dives into guard, looking to finish.

Streicher working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bishop doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bishop manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Bishop accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
Bishop has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Bishop cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Streicher sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though.

Bishop wants to control from the top but Streicher keeps moving.
Streicher is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Well Streicher has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
