Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Marcus Sakkara (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Russel Richards (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Richards's choice of entrance music: Meytal Cohen - Toxicity. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Marcus Sakkara!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 14 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Russel Richards!
The judges for this bout are Alan Glass, George Francis and Gwen Towbar.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Richards loads up on a big right hand but Sakkara slips the punch.
Sakkara ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Richards moves away.
Sakkara definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
A shot to the liver by Sakkara. Beautiful body shot.
Decent striking displayed by Richards there.
Richards missing with a left hand there. Sakkara was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

and Richards counters by moving into the clinch.
Richards lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage.

Sakkara lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Sakkara.

Russel Richards showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Richards drops Sakkara with a naaaaasty hook - Sakkara is in real trouble here! Richards dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
