Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hiranuka Stakanu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carlos Cierra (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stakanu comes to the cage accompanied by Oy, To Ne Vecher. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

24 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Carlos Cierra!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Tiny Johnson and Stewart Dunkirk.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cierra looks to land a body kick but Stakanu moved away.
A bone on bone clash there as Stakanu blocks the leg kick.
Stakanu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Cierra dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Stakanu. That did some damage!
Stakanu stuns Cierra with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Cierra looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
A punch lands to the side of Cierra 's head but he takes it in his stride.
It looks like Carlos Cierra has been cut.
Stakanu cracks Cierra with a right hand to the side of the head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cierra ducks right into an uppercut from Stakanu.
The fighters circling - Stakanu throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Cierra takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Stakanu darts in looking for a takedown but Cierra gets double underhooks and turns Stakanu into the cage.

Stakanu tries to work over Cierra's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Cierra misses the knee to the body. Nice hip positioning from Stakanu.
Stakanu lands a right hand that snaps the head of Cierra backwards.
Stakanu manages to break the clinch.
Stakanu misses with a straight left.
Stakanu cracks a nice hook into Cierra's ribs.
Cierra is pinned up against the cage taking some big shots here. The referee is looking closely deciding whether he should stop the fight.
Stakanu looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Cierra is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Stakanu.
Cierra takes a really solid shot there but just smiles back and shrugs his shoulders.

Stakanu closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
The referee is asking the fighters to pick up the pace.

Stakanu is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Stakanu thows a huge punch but Cierra dodges it nicely.
Stakanu wants to free his trapped foot but Cierra is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Cierra felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Stakanu wants to work for an arm triangle but Cierra is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.

In defeat, Carlos Cierra stepped up to the mic, saying 'Thanks for the chance to show the world what I'm capable of. Tonight wasn't my night but I'll come back better next time.'.
